Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thompson Toronto is committed to delivering every order in a reliable and transparent manner. Below you will find detailed information regarding our shipping and delivery process.

1. Processing Time

Orders are prepared and processed within 1–3 business days following successful payment confirmation.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number, where available.


2. Delivery Time

Estimated delivery times generally range between 6 and 11 business days, depending on the destination and product availability.

During peak periods such as sales, holidays, or promotional campaigns, as well as in the event of customs inspections, delivery times may be extended.

All delivery timeframes are estimates. Delays caused by logistics partners, carriers, or customs authorities do not entitle the customer to compensation or penalties, except where required by law.


3. Shipping Method

Orders are shipped from international fulfilment centres and handled by selected logistics and delivery partners.

Final delivery within Canada is typically carried out by recognised carriers such as Canada Post or other trusted courier partners, depending on destination and availability.

Where possible, shipments are trackable using the tracking information provided.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed transparently at checkout.

Costs may vary based on:

  • destination;

  • package size and weight;

  • selected shipping options.

Any applicable promotions, including free delivery thresholds, will be clearly communicated on the website or during checkout.


5. Import Taxes, Duties & Customs Fees

International shipments may be subject to:

  • import taxes;

  • customs duties;

  • customs clearance or administrative fees imposed by authorities or carriers.

Such charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Thompson Toronto has no control over these fees and cannot estimate their amount.

If import charges are not paid and a shipment is refused, returned, or held by customs, the customer remains responsible for:

  • unpaid import taxes or duties;

  • any return shipping or handling fees incurred.

Customs regulations vary by country. We recommend contacting your local customs office for further information.


6. Shipping Address & Changes

Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery details are accurate.

Address Corrections

If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us immediately at:

If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to update the details. Once an order has been shipped, address changes are no longer possible.

Incorrect Address

If delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, Thompson Toronto is not obligated to issue a refund.

If the package is returned, reshipment may be offered at our discretion and at the customer’s expense, including any additional carrier fees.


7. Unclaimed or Refused Orders

Unclaimed Packages

If a parcel is delivered to a collection point and is not collected within the carrier’s timeframe, it may be returned to the sender.

In such cases:

  • reshipment may be arranged at the customer’s expense;

  • no refund is issued for unclaimed parcels.

Refused Deliveries

If a customer refuses delivery without prior contact or valid reason, no refund will be issued.

Customers experiencing delivery issues are encouraged to contact us promptly so we can assess possible solutions.


8. Responsibility During Shipping

While a package is in transit, shipment status is monitored using carrier-provided tracking information.

Once tracking confirms delivery to the provided address, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.

Thompson Toronto is not responsible for:

  • loss or theft after delivery;

  • damage occurring after delivery;

  • delays caused by force majeure events, including strikes, customs processes, or weather conditions.
